Hot Banana - Dominos Pizza

Dominos Pizza is the leading brand for UK home pizza delivery. Their innovative menu and frequent ‘guest’ pizzas require ingredients from all over the world. When they heard about a strange and exotic ‘banana pepper’ from Central America, Clarity were given the brief to source and supply them. (We though they were winding us up). After various enquiries in the region, we found a producer in Mexico, who didn’t think banana peppers were exotic at all and was very proud to show his off to us. Needless to say, Dominos were delighted and the Dominos ‘Jamaican Bombastic’ pizza, complete with Mexican banana peppers was launched in the UK. Thankfully the other pizza toppings we source for Dominos are slightly more mainstream.

When it comes to the latest fashion in council contractor clothing, ballistic trousers are a must have. Made from anti cut ballistic fabric to MOD specifications; they protect the wearer from sharp objects when they are working the mean streets of their locality. In partnership with Bell Workwear Ltd, a leading supplier to major UK local authorities, we source these specialist workwear garments in the UK, using UK suppliers and manufacturers. Sourcing is a global field, but sometimes the most obvious solutions are in your own home market.

 

Everything in The Pink - Starlite

Starlite are one of the leading suppliers of dancewear to the UK market. Their innovative designs, comprehensive stock holding and state of-the-art on-line ordering have been the driving force behind their huge success. While choosing to source the majority of their own brand products in the UK, Starlite were looking to develop an offshore strategy for some price sensitive new lines. We discussed their needs and learnt a great deal about the various shades of pink that their customers, (usually girls aged 5-14 years) wanted. We were able to develop the new ranges based on their specifications and designs, and source the finished garments for them at the target price. We are delighted to be helping them to develop new designs for next year. Mean while what we don’t know about lycra isn’t worth knowing.
