What We Do

The decision to source abroad is relatively straight forward regardless of the size of your organisation. As with anything new there are risks involved and of course the inevitable and mountainous paperwork.

We offer a fully managed service and look after the stressful bits such as:

  • Choosing the ideal supplier partner for your product
  • Pricing, terms and supplier contracts
  • Sampling, accreditation, technical specifications and legislative compliance
  • Shipping, tracking, and documentation presentation
  • Duty, Customs, UK clearance and delivery.

Offshore sourcing offers obvious cost advantages, and our customers choose Clarity to help make sure that they don’t lose this by incurring ‘hidden’ costs of internal extra head count, administration and risk of product non-compliance. Many of our clients see us as their virtual purchasing and logistics department. We really take quality standards seriously. Our technical people work with carefully vetted supply partners on all aspects of product quality. We also use external testing agencies in the UK and offshore to ensure that the product reaches you exactly as you need it to be.

As a company we believe strongly that cost savings passed on to our customers should not be made at the expense of the well being of the workers in the source country. That is why we insist that all our suppliers comply with our 'People First' policies on child labour based on Article 32/1 of UNICEF’s Convention of Rights of the Child and ILO conventions 138 and 182. We also insist on standards for workers’ welfare (based on the ILO ‘Core Labour Standards Guidelines’). Please see our downloads section for the full text version of these documents
